Peugeot has 'accidentally' leaked an image of its Exalt concept car ahead of its debut at the Beijing auto show next Sunday. The four-door sedan follows the form language introduced by the 2010 SR1 concept, but is perhaps most closely related to the Onyx of 2012 in terms of execution if not format. As with the Onyx, the Exalt features a series of innovative, natural materials – something PSA design director Jean-Pierre Ploué confirmed to Car Design News would become a Peugeot hallmark – including an exterior surface finish inspired by shark skin.

Just the other day – ahead of the SEMA show – Hyundai’s US boss confirmed that the new Veloster will be coming as more than just a pedestrian coupe, with plans to launch the Hyundai Veloster Turbo in to the US. Hyundai UK were unable to confirm the UK would get the Velsoter Turbo at the time, but hot on the heels of the news overnight that Hyundai will take the Velsoter Turbo in Australia, we’ve had an email confirming the UK too will see the turbo version of the Velsoter on offer when it hits the UK in 2012.
